(Note the collection. Slowly moving things over…I’m gonna queue so you don’t get bombarded.) Look, I have zero paid streaming at the moment okay.
This one caught my eye from the very first season with the casting of Jacob Anderson and the seemingly pretty good (??) attention to the implications for Louis (and Claudia) in New Orleans of the time and the world, through the years. As far as I’ve ever been able to tell, it seems like the writers lean into exploring the societally interesting and messy bits of Rice’s basic story, and well. One of my favorite series of the last mumblemumble years was Haunting of Hill House, so canon doesn’t have to be gospel with me if it’s done well. (ooh: adaptations and covers that change it up would be a good rec list).
Have some friends obsessed with Armand; the actor for Daniel seems excellent… Add to that the crazy promos for the upcoming season and Lestat’s glam rock phase (Sam Reid actuslly doing his own vocals!) ...
How have you all been liking it? Thoughts?
